<p>3200 Metric TPH rail-mounted Boom Stacker. Designed and built by Voest Alpine (now Sandvik*) this yard machine features full long travel, 210 degree slewing and approx 30 degree luffing actions.</p>
<p>&nbsp;Commissioned in 2002, the machine is currently fully operational in Australia. It will be replaced in late 2014 by a larger Sandvik machine.&nbsp;&nbsp; It will be dismantled into transportable sections, preserved ready for export anywhere in the world.&nbsp; This allows the stacker to be redeployed into its new service in the shortest possible time, in a simple, rapid operation.&nbsp;</p>

<li>Operation of the stacker is fully automatic, via PLC linked to a master site SCADA process control system. Power and communications are provided via trailing cable, with onboard transformer, as well as a hose reel for wash down and fire suppression.</li>

<li>Featuring a&nbsp; 32m boom, machine is designed to automatically build approximately 42 m wide stockpiles on both sides of the yard feed conveyor; and operate in conjunction with rail-mounted traveling, slewing, luffing bucket wheel reclaimers.</li>

<li>&nbsp;All drives have enclosed gearing. Centralized lube system to major moving parts. Long travel and slewing drives are variable speed.</li>
